How to Connect Backstage with Yourself

For Women
You know how, in a theatre production, everything looks seamless and polished from the front row?
The lights, the lines, the energy — it all flows.
But step backstage?
It’s a completely different story.
Costumes flying. People whispering. Cues being missed. Someone’s looking for their shoe.
It’s not perfect. In fact, it’s chaos!
But it’s REAL.
There’s no pretending backstage — just people figuring it out, supporting one another, trying again. That’s where the real work happens.
That’s the space I want to invite you into this June.
It’s a journey called “Backstage with Yourself.”
A small group of women and I will embark on a 5-week journey to discover how to stop performing and start understanding the stories running our show.
Not to fix ourselves. But to meet ourselves. Kindly. Curiously.
Powerfully.
- It’s about unpacking the hidden scripts we’re carrying—and the quiet self-judgments that might be driving you harder than you realise.
- It’s about learning how your Top 5 CliftonStrengths can become either a gift… or a hindrance.
Because yes — your greatest strengths are often the places where you judge yourself most harshly. - And it’s about learning a new way of being backstage, so that when you do step “on stage” in your life — at work, in your relationships, in your leadership — you’re not just performing.
You’re grounded. You’re present. You’re you.
Here’s what we’ll discover together:
✅ How to identify the subtle voice of self-judgment (and why it often hides behind excellence)
✅ How your strengths can reveal the identity labels you’ve unknowingly taken on
✅ How to replace self-judgment with authenticity, clarity, and self-forgiveness
✅ How to reconnect with the version of you that’s been waiting in the wings
✅ How to be seen, without self-editing
This work is tender, but not lonely.
(This is where the power of this journey lies!)
You’ll be part of a small, supportive group of women — leaders, mothers, quiet powerhouses — who are also laying down their emotional backpacks and choosing something gentler.
Something wiser.
And honestly? That space… changes people.
Here’s what some of the women have shared:
“This was the first time I felt like I could breathe and not pretend I had it all together.”
“I never realised how heavy the labels were until I put them down.”
“For the first time in years, I like who I see in the mirror.”“I’ve never experienced support like this before.”
If this resonates — if something in you says “this is me”— join us.
